We do hope that you will enjoy your stay at Crabapple Cottage. To ensure that all visitors benefit from a peaceful and relaxing holiday, we would ask that you read and abide by the following conditions:
On street parking is available outside the cottage front door.
A full surround fireguard is provided for the wood-burning stove.
Fuel for the wood burner is readily available from Tim McGarva, who will deliver. He can be contacted on tel 01988 840217 or mobile 07748 677452.
When you arrive, you will find loaf of bread in the cupboard and a pint of milk in the fridge, with our compliments.
We would like you to feel at home during your stay and have provided cutlery and crockery for 6 place settings, enough for you and 2 guests.
Towels and bed linen are provided. As most people prefer to bring their own sheets and bed linen for their babies, we do not provide these for the travel cot.
A selection of DVDs, books and board games or provided for your entertainment. Please ensure these are kept in reasonable condition for other visitors to enjoy.
Generally, stays will begin and end on a Saturday. Shorter breaks are available for a minimum of three nights. See bookings.
Electricity is paid by key and can be topped up at the co-op store in Wigtown. We will ensure that a reasonable amount will be pre-paid before your arrival, which should cover the first a few days of your stay (please contact us if you want more information).
The cottage should be left in a clean and tidy condition.
This is the 19th century terraced cottage and, because we cannot provide a ground floor bedroom, it is not suitable for persons of limited mobility.
We regret that we are unable to accept pets in the cottage.
There is no smoking allowed in the cottage.
The owner reserves the right to charge for damage to the property. Any damage should be reported immediately upon arrival.
